Our ****Hotel is situated in the centre of Heiligenblut,
opposite the cablecar station of the skiing- & hiking area Großglockner/Heiligenblut.
Heiligenblut is situated in the north of Carinthia
but in the south of Austria.
The highest mountain of Austria, the Großglockner
will be your companion in summer and winter time.
Your journey from all directions will guide you
through the impressive nature of Austria.
Arrival by car:
- from north and west
a) from the highway A12 Exit Kufstein-Süd or Wörgel (if you come from direction Innsburkc) go in direction Felbertauern, through Kitzbühel, go on over Pass Thurn, at Mittersill go on direction Felbertauerntunnel to Lienz, at the end of the city Lienz at the last round-about go in direction Mölltal/Großglockner to Heiligenblut
Only in summer time you can use after the Pass-Thurn also the Großglockner High Alpine road to come to Heiligenblut.
b) Tauernautobahn A10 to exit Bischofshofen, through the valley Gasteinertal with the motorrail train from Gastein/Böckstein to Mallnitz-Obervellach go on through the valley Mölltal to Heiligenblut.
Only in summer time you can use after the Pass-Thurn also the Großglockner High Alpine road to come to Heiligenblut.
c) Tauernautobahn A10 until exit Spittal/Lendorf through Möllbrücke go on through the valley Mölltal to Heiligenblut
- from south and east
Südautobahn A2 via Villach (A2 than A10) until exit Spittal/Lendorf (A10) through Möllbrücke go on through the valley Mölltal to Heiligenblut.
ATTENTION!
The Großglockner High Alpine road is closed every year from May till October!
Arrival via train:
- Destination train station is Mallnitz-Obervellach
Arrival with the DB will be reduced until minus 50 %!
