You start directly opposite the ground station of the cable cars of the skiing area "Heiligenblut-Großglockner". "... because you must know, at the top it's the best! You begin in the oldest mountain village of Carinthia, at 1.301 meters and the cable cars and lifts will bring you up to approx. 3000 meters. Afterwards you can enjoy endless runs on slopes or offtrack on deep snow runs. On your way from the top to the valley you can stop at mountains huts which gives you a reason to make a break and taste the traditional austrian culinary dishes like "Kaiserschmarrn" or "Kässpätzle" or "Fleischkrapfen". If you want to see the sunset and life the experience on the top and you miss the last gondola down to the valley, don't be sad - you can take the slopes until the end of the skiing area - opposite our hotel.
